From this E3 1997 footage, Conga throws a coconut that Banjo picks up and holds over his head, like the orange.
It looks like players would have given the coconut to Chimpy instead, which was altered in the final release.

We found Creative Director @Ghoulyboy loitering in the Rare grounds earlier and it turns out, if you point a camera at him he'll answer questions! Enjoy this tale of a cut Banjo-Tooie feature that had a few boss-sized wrinkles the team couldn't iron out in time:

So, who's been hitting SharpClaws on the head this week? Anyone for the first time? We look back fondly on Star Fox Adventures - yes, even Prince Tricky - so it's great to see it on Nintendo Switch 2.
