Just spent an hour at our South African neighbours house which he built to spec by hand.
He's hand crafted everything from the stair bannisters to dining tables to sanding and filling in the floorboards. Proper earthy rustic interior with forest green walls.
Finally feel like I'm slowly breaking into tennis.
Easily the most difficult sport I've tried to pick up. The skill threshold to be "playable" seems much higher than other sports.
One of my favourite memories of staying in the West Bank was our friend taking us to his cousin's pre wedding celebration on the outskirts of Bethlehem.
yt friend from NYC and I in the middle of this being handed 🔫s, and all the boys and village elders just enjoying the scenes
Palestinian Bedouins of Gaza performing the al-Dahiyya war dance at a festival in Gaza. You can see the late Mujahid Commander Ustadh Yahya al-Sinwar (تقبله الله) [Dress Shirt with a Black Bisht] joining in.
