If HEXED flops, it is not going to teach Disney Animation the lesson you think it might. It will not make Disney Animation heads and Disney leadership greenlight movies that meet your specific definition of "peak" or whatever. Artists could possibly get laid off,

lucas was almost certainly never going to make a new trilogy, and on the remote chance that he actually did, he was never going to spoonfeed you exactly what you thought you wanted any more than abrams or johnson did. you would have hated his trilogy as much or more than disney's
George Lucas's new CBS interview is going to drive Star Wars fans absolutely insane for the next decade.
Hearing him casually state that he retired with three more movies ready to make because he was simply running out of time puts the Disney buyout in a completely different light.
Whether you love or hate the sequel trilogy we actually got, it’s impossible not to wonder how different the galaxy would look if the creator kept creative control.

‘ZOOTOPIA 3’ director Byron Howard says the movie will continue to “lean into” the tension between fans who want Nick and Judy to become a couple and those who want them to remain friends.
“I think we’re going to keep leaning into that.”

This one was always my favorite. The setup, escalation and punchline are just perfectly executed. But I had forgotten that it was Sam Sheepdog and Ralph Wolf.
