Eighty-six years ago today, at a defining moment in the Second World War, the Greek people stood against fascism.
They chose resistance over surrender, making extraordinary sacrifices in defence of freedom.
On Όχι Day, I join the Greek community in Canada and around the world in honouring the legacy of those who stood up for liberty.

What if we find out later that the reason Pete Hegseth are firing these top patriotic generals is because they refuse to go along with the plan they’re cooking up to interfere with the elections or starting an unprovoked war with someone? Just curious!😉

The fact Trump got accused of another rape and it’s barely making the news in the states is despicable.

Kory Teneycke on Pierre Poilievre "heaping praise on Pete Hoekstra": "There is a fawning flirtation with MAGA that is just so obvious. It runs just under the service, but people smell it. They see hints of it all over."

There it is ... perfectly said. Quebec elected a petulant child as a Premier, with 28% of the vote. The signs were there during the campaign. Our economy is on the line.

I expect this is not uncommon with US CDN acquisitions. Either direct financial gain by manipulating markets, or political gain by manipulating public opinion, such as in the Postmedia takeovers. cbc.ca/news/politics/governm…

Pierre Poilievre on QP today!
It's Carney's fault that the interest rate is going up.😂
TRUTH: It was the inflation on energy that caused interest rates to go up caused by the Iran war!
PIERRE POILIEVRE THINKS CANADIANS ARE STUPID.🙄

Hamilton workers are facing uncertainty, but they are not facing it alone. Marty Warren, President of the Steelworkers, and I met today to discuss the Stelco layoffs, and we share one message: we stand with workers, and we will fight for their jobs and their future.

Voilà Plamondon cherche que de la confrontation, avec Carney et maintenant que va t il faire en face du bras de fer que lancent les chefs autochtones ? Cet amateur a t il des conseillers ? Ou tous sont pires au Pq

Trump has not mentioned PM Carney's name for a month, since Carney announced construction of an oil pipeline to the Pacific so we can sell our oil to China.
Not a peep. Carney scares him by omission

Conservatives would have caved in the first weeks after Trump's tariffs, just like Poilievre did. They won't fight for Canada, she's doing it.

Jimmy Pattison's rag, Fraser Valley Today, spews disinformation about MLA pensions. This is the thin skin of the super rich in action.
Every MLA regardless of party gets a pension after 6 years. But somehow it's the NDPs greed. Plus it's bs. There's set rules for snap elections.
This isn't a FULL pension, stop it with this disinformation
If a MLA serves at least 6 years, they are eligible for the pension. But after only 6 years, they'd get 3.5% x 6 years= 21% of their salary when they turn 65
I hate this nonsense. This headline should get community noted. People will believe MLAs will get like 100k for the rest of their lives. This isn't the case.
The pension plan for MLAs is good but not amazing. They pay 11% and they get 3.5% for every year. As comparison, other public servants usually pay 9-10% (I pay 10.15% for instance) and get usually 1.8-2% a year. So it is in fact a more generous plan but they also get nothing if they don't do 6 years

PM Carney is representing all Canadians and all provincial leaders were invited, including M. Plamondon. He chose not to attend, his right. But not an insult to him or Quebec. When he holds an international meeting, he can set the agenda.
