The meeting between Pope Leo and Dylan was a brief one, consisting of greetings and a few lighthearted exchanges, according to Vatican News.
Pope Leo presented Bob Dylan with a rosary, while Dylan reciprocated with a book: Chronicles: Volume One.

It always blows my mind how every major urban city in our country votes democrat...it's as if it's by design, which I believe it is. You look at the wide open spaces of Texas, they're conservative, free, and private. Major urban centers with people packed like sardines, they're liberal...I'll never understand it.

The Republicans were crushed in the 1974 midterms. Reagan later delivered a speech explaining why:
♦️ “The meaning of the last election will not be found among those who voted. It will be found among those who stayed home—the biggest non-voter bloc in our nation’s history. And why did they stay home? Well, because they said they couldn’t see any difference between the two parties.”♦️
There’s a lesson in that worth remembering. You can’t win voters by simply telling them how bad the other side is. You have to give them a compelling reason to vote for you. Stand for something. Be bold, unapologetically conservative, offer a clear contrast, and most importantly, deliver on the promises you campaigned on. Voters need to see a real difference, not just hear about one.

Unless you’re a socialist. Then please don’t vote.
In fact, if you’re a socialist why not move to a country who already has socialism (or some version of it) in place. Lots to pick from, too! See, we in America… we are a representative republic and aim to stay that way.
