We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Peacemakers Network’s new 2026-2030 Strategy! 🎉 After many years of dialogue, consultation, and revisions, our new Strategy highlights a vision for the future that profits from experience and past accomplishments, calls the attention that sustainable peace is not merely the absence of violence but the product of long-term transformational relationships, and affirms the Network’s commitment to help forge the kind of the deeply-rooted peace shared by diverse participants. ✨ We’re honored to work alongside our Members and partners through this process. Over 52% of Uganda’s population are children, yet their wellbeing must be more than a social concern; it must remain a priority on the agenda of the 12th Parliament. At the orientation of Members of Parliament on child rights and wellbeing convened by @ucrnn in Entebbe, @Kabahendaflavia called on legislators to put children at the centre of national priorities.

This #InternationalYouthDay, we recognize the resilience & potential of young people everywhere, especially those whose circumstances make their journey harder. Different contexts may shape their paths, but they should never limit their dreams.

Who are you grateful for today? We all have people in our lives who have helped us in some way. Perhaps it was something they said that had a meaningful impact on us or maybe they provide constant ongoing support in our lives. People who are always in our corner.

The Commission has issued a National Public Advisory calling on all Kenyans, media practitioners, social media users, content creators, and law enforcement agencies to protect the privacy and dignity of survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV). The advisory highlights the legal consequences of the non-consensual sharing of intimate images, disclosure of survivors' identities, and circulation of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). It also outlines the responsibilities of the public, media, and institutions in safeguarding survivors, preventing re-victimization, and ensuring access to justice.
