Day in the Life of the Book Lady:
Boy: Mrs. McD, my mom wants to know if she can buy this magazine.
Me: You want to buy this magazine?
Boy: Yes, I have money. (Pulls out $20 bill)
Me: I’m sorry! I can sell the school’s magazines to children. 🤪❤️ @Simone_Biles
Inspired by one of my library story times and discussion of setting as a story element, this BWE student created a painting to represent the setting of “One Dark Night” by Lisa Wheeler. What a special gift! ❤️📚❤️ @BWEBulldogsCISD @CISD_Libraries @ConroeISD @LisaWheelerBook

@LindaSuePark - I just finished Prairie Lotus and loved it! I too was a Wilder fan as a child! My 2nd gr. teacher hoped to make a reader of me! It worked! I read them all & never stopped reading! As a school librarian, I would love to see a series develop. We need these stories!
