He did the same for RUBC Head and TVP Regatta and Reading Town Regatta. He was a truly exceptional individual. We will miss him terribly.

It is with a heavy heart that we tell you that Andrew Wilbey passed away just before Christmas. He helped RAR for over 40 years serving in virtually every role during his tenure including Chair and President. He will be missed by all on the Committee and those at the river bank.

We were at the Caversham Court Fete and saw some amazing colouring entries to the CADRA Residents’ Association colouring competition. Thank you to @RBFRSofficial for providing us with the design for the competition. Here are a few of the entries. ❤️

This is a great video please watch. It is two minutes……two minutes that could save a life. If you would like to know more, or practice using a throw line, then please reach out to us or the RBFRS.

Would you know how to help someone in trouble in the water? Our firefighters from Caversham Road have issued this short video showing you how to use a throw line, safely and effectively. Please share - knowing what to do could make all the difference.

We are humbled that you choose to travel from Burton to visit us in Reading. It is always a delight to see you. Our sister club Reading Rowing Club was formed in 1867 (RAR was formed in 1842). I think Trent RC was 1863? We have a lot in common! Thank you so much for coming.

Welcome to day 2 of Reading Amateur Regatta. We race over 1000m on Sunday. Big thanks to the course team for moving the start raft and getting the course ready. We can see some of the competitors checking out the course near the commentary position.
