“I suddenly realized that this was the true logic of my nation. Whatever the Chinese Communist Party does to you, you have to allow it.”
During his conversation at the Reagan Institute, Pastor Ezra Jin shared a chilling moment from his imprisonment that revealed the Chinese Communist Party’s expectation of absolute obedience, even in the face of abuse.

Inspiring to see pastor Ezra Jin speak about religious freedom in #China today at the @ReaganInstitute
The persecution of Ezra and 8 members of his church and disbarment of his lawyer should galvanize Christians & freedom advocates to stand with persecuted 🇨🇳 political prisoners

Great to have Senator @DaveMcCormickPA back on the show. In addition to covering his trailblazing work on tech & defense in PA we discussed his important speech at the @RJC last month on why Israel is a model ally & why supporting free people is in our national interest @ReaganInstitute

Grateful to @ReaganInstitute and @rachelhoff814 for this conversation. President Reagan said the Soviet empire would end up on the ash heap of history, and it did. The Cuban regime is next. The clock is running out on the last communist dictatorship in the West.
On our Reaganism podcast, Rosa María Payá Acevedo, founder of @CUBADECIDE, sits down with Rachel Hoff (@rachelhoff814) to share her story and discuss the future of a free Cuba.
🇨🇺 Since her father, Cuban democracy leader Oswaldo Payá, was killed in 2012, Rosa María has continued his mission of securing fundamental rights for the Cuban people.

My sincere thanks to @pepperdine, @Reagan_Library, and @ReaganInstitute for inviting me to speak at their Reykjavik Summit 40th Anniversary! It was an honor and privilege to speak on this historic 1986 summit and on the profound opportunity for trilateral arms control today. 🇺🇸
We're honored to welcome Pastor Ezra Jin and his daughter, Grace Jin Drexel, to the Reagan Institute on Wednesday, October 21, for a conversation on the ongoing fight for religious freedom in China.
While her father was still detained in China, Grace joined the Reaganism podcast to share her father's story. Now, following nearly nine months of detention, Pastor Jin is free and able to share his own story--and the stories of those still in prison at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party.
💻 Join us on X on October 21 at 5:30 PM ET for a livestream of this important conversation.

Joined @larry_kudlow to discuss the latest on the Houthi threat & the need to restore deterrence. Saudi’s need to lead the fight & the US should continue to support.
Freedom and democracy remain shared values worth defending.
The latest Reagan Institute survey shows 81% of Americans believe the U.S. has a moral obligation to stand up for human rights and democracy abroad — including 83% of Democrats and 82% of Republicans.
New IRI polling shows that 74% of Venezuelans view democracy as the best form of government for their country & 62% want major changes to the political system & leadership in the next 12 months.
They are divided on the timing for elections: 45% favor elections as soon as possible while 52% say they should be held after certain conditions are met.
The poll also finds economic concerns are high & strong support for closer ties with the United States.

The 2026 National Defense Fellows have completed the first component of their fellowship: the Peace Through Strength Boot Camp at the Ronald Reagan Institute!
🤝 In partnership with the @hamiltonsoc, the four-day program brought 21 students together with leading defense policy experts and practitioners to explore strategy, budgeting, force structure, the defense industrial base, nuclear deterrence, intelligence, and the future of warfare.
🇺🇸 The goal: equip the next generation of national security professionals with the knowledge and perspective to contribute to America’s defense.
The Fellowship continues in December, when the students will reconvene at the @RonaldReagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley for the Reagan National Defense Forum.
