היא כוללת שחרור מאות מחבלים רוצחים מבתי הכלא, חזרת עזתים בהם אלפי מחבלים לצפון הרצועה, מסיגה את צה"ל מציר נצרים, ומחזירה את האיום על תושבי העוטף - ובכך למעשה מוחקת את הישגי המלחמה שהושגו בדם רב של לוחמינו, עד כה, ברצועת עזה.
לא זו בלבד, היא אינה מובילה לשחרור כלל החטופים, וחורצת את גורלם של יתר החטופים שאינם כלולים בעסקה למוות.
זו לא "בחירה קשה" שצריך לעשותה כדי להחזיר את החטופים. זו בחירה מודעת במחיר חייהם של אזרחים ישראל רבים אחרים, שלצערי, ישלמו בחייהם את מחיר העסקה הזו. כבר ראינו בעבר את פירות העסקאות הללו. למדנו בדרך הקשה שאין כיסוי לכל ההבטחות ש"אח"כ נסתדר".
בשנה האחרונה, באמצעות כוחנו הפוליטי, הצלחנו למנוע מהעסקה הזו לצאת לפועל, פעם אחר פעם.
אלא שמאז נוספו לממשלה גורמים נוספים, שכעת תומכים בעסקה, ואיננו מהווים עוד לשון מאזניים.
המשמעות היא שראש הממשלה יימנע מלחתום על העסקה רק אם הכח שיתייצב נגדה יהיה גדול מספיק, ולא יאפשר לו לעשות זאת.
*כוחה של עוצמה יהודית אינו מספיק בהרכבה הנוכחי של הממשלה כדי להוות מנוף לחץ למניעת העסקה, ופרישתנו לבד לא תמנע את הוצאתה לפועל.*
לכן אני קורא לחברי, שר האוצר בצלאל סמוטריץ', להצטרף אליי לשיתוף פעולה מלא נגד העסקה הנוראית המתרקמת, ולהודיע יחד לראש הממשלה באופן ברור ונחרץ, כי אם העסקה תצא לפועל, נפרוש יחד מהממשלה.
אני מדגיש: גם אם נהיה באופוזיציה, לא נפיל את נתניהו, אבל המהלך הזה הוא הסיכוי היחיד שלנו למנוע את הוצאתה לפועל, ולמעשה למנוע את כניעתה של מדינת ישראל לחמאס, לאחר יותר משנה של מלחמה עקובה מדם, בה נפלו למעלה מ-400 חיילי צה"ל ברצועת עזה, ולדאוג כי מותם לא יהיה לשווא.
לצד זאת, אני קורא לראש הממשלה להתעשת, ולנקוט בצעדים שיובילו להכרעת חמאס ולשחרור חטופינו מבלי להפקיר את ביטחון ישראל: להפסיק לחלוטין את העברת הסיוע ההומניטרי והדלק, החשמל והמים לעזה, לצד המשך כתישה צבאית של חמאס עד הכרעתו המוחלטת.

בניגוד לדברי בן גביר, עסקת החטופים המתגבשת אינה מפקירה חטופים למותם. מתווה העסקה כולל מספר שלבים: בשלב הראשון ישוחררו 33 חטופים וכבר במהלכו ידונו הצדדים במעבר לשלב השני בו ישוחררו שאר החטופים.
כלומר, כל עוד העסקה לא תטורפד באמצע, ותמשיך להתנהל, כל החטופים ישוחררו.
