The Word of God informs us that the fervent prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much. Prayers spoken by a Child of God possess the ability to move mountains and the heavens. That is why the devil tries his hardest to downplay its purpose, power, and significance. He would rather us rely on the arm of the flesh than to believe and trust in the effectiveness of prayer. Although sadly many have been led to not think so, prayer is indeed an action and one of a believer’s most valuable weapons. When the disciples could not cast out a powerful demon, Jesus told them that in order for that particular demon to be casted out that one needed to fast and pray. When the flesh was weak but the Spirit was willing, Jesus instructed them to pray. When satan desired to sift Peter like wheat, what did Jesus do? Pray. When a brother or sister is in need of healing, the believer must pray. Without ceasing, we have to pray. Another underrated and mighty weapon is praise. Supernatural deliverance can happen when we give praise to God. The LORD desires and loves it. So much, Jehoshaphat who was a King of Judah appointed a specific group of people during battle whose duty it was to worship the Most High and sing. And the moment they sung “Give thanks to the LORD, for His loving devotion endures forever,” the LORD moved, defeated their adversaries, and from their attackers they were delivered. Silas and Paul too sung praises and offered supplications to God whilst in prison. When they did, the ground shook, the prison doors were opened, and they were set free. Both prayer and praise have the ability to set forth a miraculous chain of events. Therefore, no matter the trial nor tribulation, we must never become too tired or discouraged to say our prayers and to proclaim our praises to our Most High God. The face of Moses shined when he spoke to the LORD. So much, that when he came down from mountain, the Children of Israel were afraid. The Word of God brings this radiance to our skin, life into our bones, and produces this sparkle within ours eyes. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.” We become alive. People notice the difference and wonder what changed. Jesus gave us the glow. Before, I was stale, but the LORD gave me a little personality. Before, I used to drag my feet, but God added a pep to my step. Before, I was pessimistic, but Jesus gave me hope. All Glory to God. 🙏🏾 G’Evening. ♥️
