We love the underrated and yes, misunderstood JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS. So close to the absurd reality, some people didn’t realize it was satire.
For my @Dazed debut (!), I wrote about JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS at 20, and how the once misunderstood satire feels like an older sibling of the later meta comedies of Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

I worked on a show called #LizaOnDemand earlier this year with the great @HarryElfont and @RealDebKaplan. How can I market this show that skews a bit younger to the sort-of specific audience I’ve accumulated over the last 25+ years? By making this video NO ONE asked me to make.
I accept this position but am going to need to cut out early this afternoon. Also I have a thing on Friday. And I’m going to need the entire month of April off for my birthday. Actually I’m not sure this job is for me let me get back to you.
