This story actually beggars belief. Legitimate shocking stuff.

Before we 'punish' you, we are going to reward you, so that your punishment is less severe than what it might otherwise have been. What an absolute load of judicial and procedural bollocks this really is. Victims first? Pull the other one.
What a shambles of a fucking country.
This Portuguese Fraudster has his sentencing adjourned for a SECOND time so it doesn't affect him being granted CITIZENSHIP.
What a fucking pisstake @OCallaghanJim

Scenes in Spain where the far left insists mayhem and torching buildings is how you protest.
According to the EU for years, the far right, the far right ,the far right were the problem. They got that incredibly wrong from what we are seeing across Europe.
In 1980s 'fascist' Ireland, a man in his 20s with a decent job could buy a nice house and have 4or5 children while the wife stayed at home.
Thankfully, we've 'progressed' since, and now with both parents working, they'll be mortgaged until they're 70 and lucky to have 1 child.

Major difference between a loving grandparent hugging their grandchild and some strange woman coming up to you on the street.
I would most certainly recoil in this instance.

IPAS was always a property scam. State money used, initially, to rescue those friends of the government still struggling with debts from the Crash, then everyone wanted a go, and it became a free for all.
If you thought IPAS was genuinely doing good in the world, you were had.

For all the hand wringing about the ‘far right’, it turns out the far left is a real danger to society. This week’s @Independent_ie column

I think this was the beginning of the end of public respect for RTE when it agreed to "no debate" on trans. Joe Duffy on the fallout from 2022’s programmes on the transgender issue, accusations from TDs, and the reaction from his RTÉ bosses independent.ie/videos/joe-du…
Typical @rte bias on @rteliveline with Cuddihy.
They get Senator Ronan Mullen on, with 5 minutes notice, to 'defend' Tuam nuns. He doesn't take the bait but Cuddihy pushes.
When Mullen mentions current child abuse in Tusla and 10,000 abortions annually, Kieran's silent.

The level of evil behind this recent Government advert...cannot be overestimated.
I have contemplated this. And it is profoundly evil. It comes from the minds of deeply disturbed individuals.
It is a fullbore attack on family values and the core of our societies. One of the most shocking things I have seen in some time:

Kieran Cuckihy now vigorously defending the advert with that woman caller.

My grandmother's were amazing. My mother loves the ground my children walk on. Who ever was involved in making grannies out to be sex offenders for giving their grandchildren a hug should be fired. Everyone involved in that advert should be getting their P45.

It’s gas watching the ivory tower class of Ireland defending that ad while the world laughs at them.

You also need to rein in CUAN and the Community Foundation of Ireland. The rot goes deep and unless you do, this will not be the last international humiliation we are subjected by these ideologues.
This advert of 'nani giving the grandchildren a hug is bad' reminds me of that time they tried to portray traditional Irish nuclear families as 'racist and bigoted'.
