According to @VTMNIEUWS: “Elections in Israel: 7.5 million Palestinians have no vote.” That’s like reporting: “Elections in Belgium: 18 million Dutch people have no vote” I explained it in Flemish (English subtitles)
What kind of misleading headline is this, @VTMNIEUWS? VTM’s headline claims that “7.5 million Palestinians have no vote” in its coverage of Israel’s elections. Who exactly is included in that figure? If it includes 2 million Israeli Arab citizens, the claim is wrong. They have the same voting rights as other Israeli citizens, run for office and serve in the Knesset. If it includes 5 million Palestinians living in the West Bank and Gaza, they generally do not hold Israeli citizenship and therefore do not vote in Israeli national elections. Combining these populations under one sweeping headline misleads viewers. A reminder: the last Palestinian parliamentary elections were in 2006. President Mahmoud Abbas has now postponed the November 2026 elections until September 2027, despite commitments to international partners. His promise to hold elections was among the commitments underpinning France’s recognition of a Palestinian state. Recognition went ahead. The elections did not. A report about democracy should begin by getting the electorate right.

Waiting to see Abu Mazen vote. Don't hold your breath; how many times has he promised?

I just learned that he has no mother or father to speak up for him. And now the Islamic Republic wants to hang him. His name is Ilya Ben Rashid. He is a young Iranian protester He has a younger sister. Now he is facing a death sentence. He was arrested during the January 2026 protests in Iran. A Revolutionary Court in Isfahan sentenced him to death on charges of “waging war against God” for allegedly damaging public property. He is being held in Dastgerd Prison. Reports say he was denied a lawyer of his choice. Imagine facing execution for demanding freedom. We must become his voice. We must stop his execution. Say his name. Save Ilya Ben Rashid. #StopExecutionsInIran

It’s the season of the “olive harvest” in Judea and Samaria, when activists fly into Israel to harass Jewish farmers on their own Jewish land, from doing their work. Andrey Khrenovksi is a known Russian Israeli activist and has been at the heart of organising these protests for more than two years. Today he was arrested in Benjamin. The fear now is he will be released and return to burn down the olive trees.

These “high school students” in France look a lot like the “civilian journalists” in Gaza.
Do these really look like high schoolers annoyed that their classrooms are too dirty?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know

One year ago today, Hamas terrorists in Gaza publicly executed several innocent Palestinians from the Dughmash family. They forced people to watch and chanted that anyone who challenged Hamas’s rule would face the same fate. The clashes with the Dughmash family began after the ceasefire agreement was signed, when Hamas ordered families to evacuate the buildings where they had taken shelter as it prepared to reassert its control. With nowhere else to go, the family refused. Hamas responded with gunfire. Hamas then surrounded the family’s neighborhood, detained residents, and killed people based on their family name. More than 28 innocent Palestinians were killed. Even today, only one human-rights group has documented even a small part of this story. Hamas has never stopped terrorizing the people of Gaza. DOWN WITH HAMAS.

Green Prince (Mosab Hassan Yousef) vs Abby Martin on Piers Morgan: “Palestine was never born. How can you free it? It was never there.” Then tells her that screaming “genocide” doesn’t make it real… and that one falafel sandwich doesn’t make you an expert. Mic. Dropped. 🔥🇮🇱😂

Today, we remember Vadim Norzhich & Yosef Avraham. OTD in 2000, we witnessed one of the most savage acts of Palestinian barbarism and terror. Two Israelis, Vadim & Yosef, accidentally entered Ramallah, where they were jumped upon by a mob of Palestinians, mutilated, lynched and thrown out the Palestinian Auth police station. Those blood soaked hands will forever be seared into my mind. Yossi was 38, a husband and father of three. Vadim was 33 and had married just days before his murder. May their memories forever be blessed!

Prediction: Not one major media outlet will critically examine the merits of Pillay - who promoted the genocide libel based on an intellectually, legally and methodologically unserious report - receiving this prize. unwatch.org/un-watch-rebutta… @UNWatch They will mostly copy and paste from the Nobel Prize statement, while adding something along the lines of 'Israel has criticised Pillay...". No real journalism will be produced, thus ensuring that the echo-chamber which insists that those who libel Israel and Jews are lifetime members of 'the community of the good' will be reinforced.

How Zohran Mamdani is commemorating October 7: eating at Hinds Hall, a Palestinian restaurant in NYC.
