VIDEO ENTRY: one farmer, one payment, then the scoreboard.
I wanted to show what $REST is trying to fix, using a single stack of 10 coins.
A farmer sells her harvest. A broker takes a cut, the payment takes days to clear, and cashing out costs another fee. In my illustration, 6 of the 10 coins reach her. (The numbers are only illustrative, not a measured rate.)
$REST is a Solana token built to shorten that road. The buyer pays, the transfer is visible on-chain, and the goal is for more of the value to stay with the person who earned it.
The honest part is in the video too.
The site still lists the ConnectGlobal94 app as upcoming, and the launch structure is as the project states it, so check it yourself.
I'm watching for three milestones: the first real payments, the app in people's hands, and a community that votes.
