Rick Rule explains what mining prospect generators are and how prospect generators view exploration as a knowledge business, not an asset business: 🔬 Generating geological concepts through technical and commercial expertise 🤝 Farming out exploration to other mining companies to fund the heavy lifting 🏗️ Building a portfolio of projects while retaining exposure to multiple opportunities Rick highlights how a real asset in early-stage companies is human intelligence, with prospect generators diluting at the project level rather than diluting that expertise. A Brooklyn judge told a defendant the Second Amendment doesn’t exist in her courtroom, then gave him 10 years. Dexter Taylor had no record and no victim. After NYPD tracked gun parts to his Bushwick apartment, they raided it on April 6, 2022 and took 13 firearms he’d built, plus a 3D printer. Two months later, Bruen struck down New York’s handgun permit law. When Taylor went to trial in 2024, Judge Abena Darkeh barred that defense: “don’t bring the Second Amendment in here, this is New York.” On May 13, she sentenced him to 10 years. Parole doesn’t start until 2032.

Sir, your party has a decade long financial track record, unblemished by success.
Asked whether he could guarantee BC’s projected deficit would stay below $14 billion, BC NDP Leader David Eby says his party would release a full breakdown of its election promises and how they would be funded, but did not directly commit to the $14-billion ceiling: “Every commitment we're making in this campaign is fully costed.”

David Eby keeps announcing things that are "absolutely critical" but can't answer the question of "if this is so critical why did you spend $90 million on an opportunistic election" instead of using your majority to just do it. The fact is that all of the things he has announced could have been done instead of calling an election. He doesn't care about you. He cares about him.

Are investors still valuing gold miners based on yesterday's industry? Today's gold miners are generating record cash flows, maintaining stronger balance sheets and showing greater capital discipline, yet many valuations continue to reflect the sector's past. Add in growing reserve scarcity, and the investment case may be changing. Read Sprott's latest insight from Kenny Zhu: sprott.com/insights/gold-min… #Gold #GoldMining #PreciousMetals #Investing

Agnico Eagle Targets Up to 1.5M Ounces of New Production | Ammar Al-Joundi Ammar Al-Joundi, President and CEO of @agnicoeagle, joins Kitco Mining’s Paul Harris at the 2026 Mining Forum Americas in Colorado Springs to explain why the company is focused on growing from within as consolidation speculation builds across the #gold sector. Al-Joundi says Agnico expects to add between 1.3 million and 1.5 million ounces of annual production over the next five to 10 years, largely from assets it already owns. Growth at Detour Lake and Canadian Malartic, alongside Hope Bay and Upper Beaver, could lift production by roughly 20% to 30%, with Al-Joundi stressing that increasing production per share remains the key objective. youtube.com/watch?v=SjCLfy9I… Special thanks to our sponsor, @metallaroyalty

It was never a “millionaires income tax”. It was always a way to get an income tax on us all. Vote YES on I-645 to REPEAL the Income Tax

“We’re not rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, we’re putting coal in the boiler and setting a course for the iceberg.” I said the so-called Big Beautiful Bill would increase the deficit, exacerbate inflation, and increase the price we pay to finance our debt. I was right.

Right, and if the Fed had not made debt so artificially cheap for decades, LBOs wouldn't work, even with short-run price increases by portfolio companies. Under properly priced, free market debt yields, LBOs would barely cover their cost of debt carry---so these buyout horror stories wouldn't happen in the overwhelming number of cases.
My sister's longtime dentist practice got bought out by a private equity-backed dental group four months ago. Same office. Same hygienists. Same chairs. Zero new equipment. Last week they sent the new fee schedule for anyone with insurance. A routine cleaning that used to run $120 is now billed at $310, with the group quietly dropping several insurance plans they used to accept. When patients asked why, the new regional manager gave a scripted line about "aligning with market standards." Private equity figured out the same trick everywhere. They're buying up the things you can't opt out of: dental, veterinary care, urgent care, hospice, because they know you can't just skip your kid's cavity or your dog's surgery. This isn't inflation. It's leveraged debt getting loaded onto places you have no choice but to keep paying.

It doesn’t pay to do the right thing anymore in Seattle…. Unless you’re illegal Seattle business owner had to pay $50,000+ dollars in taxes and obtain 5 licenses to operate his business while illegal aliens are not taxed and allowed to sell anything.
