#Chiefs take on the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1dJrPrDoj…
These are the nights it’s most difficult to be the teammate of Patrick Mahomes… this was a bad game against a good team… EVERYBODY PLAYED POORLY (including Mahomes) but he seems to be the only one who played poorly because everybody else was bad… nope he was just as bad
Patrick Mahomes is without his starting tackles, 2 off his top WR… that is true. What is also true is he’s also has a poor game, poor accuracy, poor decisions at times… also true, he is still great
Maybe the Texans should go back Matt Burke on calling the defenses... or maybe other defensive coaches should get a chance quarter to quarter or game to game
This makes Simmons look bad… but what it doesn’t do is prove the following… he’s faking an injury, he doesn’t really wanna play, that plays when he wants, that he hasn’t been working to get back, or he has mental issues
#Chiefs LT Josh Simmons was told to leave a team meeting last week by Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes after trading words with Reid. A frustrated Simmons later apologized.

The Chiefs leaked a story designed to embarrass their LT before 8am on a Sunday.

@SeanTPendergast @SethCPayne @LopezOnSports @regadetula @ClintStoerner @RealRonTHESHOW My Grandpa passed away yesterday. And for the last couple years since he retired we’d drive around and listen to each of you when I was off work. He loved the station, teams and this city

I deleted an earlier post about Josh Simmons for clarity. After relistening to the press conference (I was live-tweeting before), the bolded part needs clearer wording. Burkholder said all parties (the team's medical staff, Josh, his agent, Andy Reid and Brett Veach) agreed on his IR stint. Here's the corrected version:
Chiefs head athletic trainer Rick Burkholder says the team feels LT Josh Simmons has plateaued in his recovery from his back injury. Simmons consulted with his family yesterday to figure out next steps, which is why he missed practice for personal reasons. Burkholder said all parties agreed that Josh should go on injured reserve.
