Money tip: with the repo rate up to 7.25%, you hit SARS's tax-free interest limit sooner than you think. Under 65 it's R23,800 a year, so at 9% (the 5-year RSA retail bond rate) only about R264,000 fills it. From 65 it's R34,500, about R383,000. TFSA interest doesn't count. #SARS #Savings
