this should be treated as an interim measure to get water to affected areas and not a permanent solution. adding more municipal tanker fleet is not an achievement… it risks becoming a step backwards if it replaces fixing the broken infrastructure @eThekwiniM

UPDATE: The eThekwini municipality says it has stopped outsourcing water tanker services and bought its own fleet. It says by the end of this year, it will have 361 municipal water tankers to service communities.

You can see this guy will keep the records and should still fall as full service history if he maintains servicing on tie, full service is not only because agents do it. Some of these agents are useless and rob or damage people’s cars.

upon inspection, i noticed that my oil pan had a dent… presumably from hitting something underneath the car. there was also a slight oil leak from one of the corners where the pan seals against the engine... now the main task now is to completely remove the oil pan and properly refit and seal it to ensure a secure seal and prevent any further oil leaks before i do an oil change. luckily i had this bad boy laying around.

I lived in South Africa for six years and go back very regularly. I write this without judgement but they are generally insane and just have a totally different attitude to risk and danger. And violence. Crazy things happen there on a daily basis.
