When flamingos hatch, they have grey, downy feathers.
You might have heard the news that we had our first flamingo hatching in two years in September at the Memphis Zoo! The chicks will start turning pink between 1- to 2-years old. – at Memphis, TN

Typically our crocs will eat only a chicken throughout the week! They don't need much, because they aren't very active!

This discovery is pretty incredible. Bio fluorescence is well documented in sea creatures and some birds but is fairly rare in mammals. The devil’s need for biofluorescence isn’t yet understood, but I can’t wait to learn more. I'm excited... read on...
