I repeatedly asked for the money, but she kept saying she hadn’t received it. Only after I pressured her did she send four small partial payments, then continued delaying the remaining balance for over two months, even though my mother urgently needed the money for her illness.

Yemenis are speaking out against the double standards and selective outrage when it comes to the suffering of their people. How can people condemn what Israel has done to innocent Palestinians in Gaza, yet remain silent about the Houthis killing innocent Muslims in Yemen?
Men, women, children, and the elderly have all suffered at the hands of the Houthis. Where is the same outrage? Innocent lives should matter regardless of who’s responsible for taking them.

George Galloway, who announced the Arab world was dead to him because Syrians had the nerve to overthrow one of his favourite hereditary dictators, is suddenly the voice of freedom again - so long as the Kremlin's voicing support for the demonstrations anyway.

Footage showing the Houthi terrorist militia targeting a local market in Taiz, #Yemen.
What do the Houthis want from the Yemeni people? Why do they keep killing them?
Iran carried out war crimes in Syria and should be made accountable. Axis-friendly western journalists calling it a waste are trying to erase that fact.

As the Iran-linked Shia Houthi militia continues to besiege and bomb the Yemeni city of Taiz, some of its residents have spoken about the double standard of the group who criticises Israel for its genocide in Gaza while themselves committing similar atrocities against civilians in Yemen.

Taiz, Jemen

An American Houthi supporter was arguing with me, insisting, “The Houthis are not terrorists. They don’t blow up airplanes.”
I replied, “You’re right. They just blow up the airports with pilgrims.” Apparently, that’s an important distinction in the world of Houthi apologists. 🤦🏽

Bashar al Assad expelled the Houthis from Damascus shortly after October 7, and kept the Golan front quiet to avoid Israeli retaliation.
The new Iraqi PM is reportedly considering a similar move re Houthis in his country.

Yemen: I am alarmed over the encirclement of Taiz by the Houthis, which puts civilians at grave risk and cuts off essential supplies. Humanitarian aid must be allowed in, and civilians who want to leave must be allowed to do so freely and safely.
