🚨 BREAKING: Russell Brand found guilty of one rape and three sexual assaults.
• The 51-year-old comedian and actor was convicted on four of the seven counts he faced at Southwark Crown Court
• He was found guilty of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault after a trial that began on 12 October
• The charges related to alleged offences involving six women between 1999 and 2009; Brand had denied all the allegations
• The jury returned the guilty verdicts after hearing evidence from the complainants, witnesses and Brand himself
• He remains in the dock as the remaining counts are still being considered by the jury
• All complainants are entitled to lifelong anonymity and the court has not yet announced a sentencing date

Burnham is considering financial payouts to African and Caribbean countries for slavery reparations.
