[She nods again.]
Thank you for saying so. I think I needed to hear that.
[She then wraps both of her arms around her, pulling her in for another hug.]
I will, Kemmy. You have my word.
[She nods back at her, smiling a bit herself.]
I'm glad you're not and glad you don't. I just feel bad sometimes, you know?
[She kneels down so that she's eye level with Kemmy.]
I'm going to work on not being so hard on myself though, I promise.

I've always had fun writing Kems and Rose hanging out/talking. They fought side by side during the Clone Wars, so when they interact you can kind of tell that they've known each other for a long time. <3
[That earns a chuckle from her.]
Yes, ma'am. I'll stop immediately.
[She then gives her shoulder a gentle squeeze while hugging her.]
One of the things I've always admired about her is her leadership skills. She can lead and inspire people, even when they're dealing with personal struggles.
Thank you for forgiving me.
[She hugs her again while smiling.]
I'll try not to beat myself up. It's a real challenge at times though, but you're right.
I trust you with my life too.
[She looks down at her, softly smiling.]
I know I've made mistakes in the past, but I'm doing everything I can to make up for it.
You're family to me too!
[She gives her a side hug while chuckling a little herself.]
I'm glad you picked me for the position. It makes sense why you picked me too, given my combat experience.
Defecting was the easiest decision I've ever made. Guarding my longtime friend is better than guarding that wrinkly prick. She's more of a person than he is. A better person too.

I always try to. Mainly because of how important you are to me, but also because it's kind of my job.
One of the benefits of serving as Kemari's bodyguard? Not having to worry about being executed for slipping up. She's actually reasonable and understands that mistakes do happen.
