The Trump administration is considering lifting sanctions on Russia’s sovereign wealth fund, the Russian Direct Investment Fund, according to The New York Times. A U.S. official confirmed the administration is assessing the fund’s application for removal “through established procedures” as part of an effort to “improve U.S.-Russia relations and help end the war.” A final decision has not yet been made. The Biden administration sanctioned the fund after Russia’s 2022 invasion, calling it a “slush fund” for Putin. People familiar told the Times that Russian officials pushed for relief in talks over the fund’s role in shipping Russian diesel to the U.S., after Trump suspended sanctions on Russian diesel October 9th. Treasury considers the fund already authorized to handle diesel and is running the normal removal process separately. This would follow earlier actions taken by President Donald J. Trump with respect to Russian sanctions. On October 16th, President Trump signed an order waiving the duties and most of the sanctions provisions of the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act. On October 21st, as envoy Steve Witkoff met with Putin, Russia released Stephen Hubbard, a 74 year old American held since 2022. President Trump wrote that the U.S. “was not required to give anything in return.” In remarks that day he said the U.S. “gave nothing in exchange.” In a Truth Social post just a few minutes later, he wrote that “if sanctions would have been placed, certainly those negotiations would have come to a complete and total halt." Annie Andrews on Trump's recent comments regarding her: "If calling me names will lower our gas prices and our grocery prices and keep our rural hospitals open, he can call me all the names that he wants. But that's not going to get the job done. And comments about taking my medical license away from the man who doesn't know how to pronounce 'acetaminophen.' I'm not going to take that seriously."

This is the problem with even the moderates in the GOP right now. It’s a lot of tough talk, but even when they have the votes for a veto proof majority, they back down to Trump. Vote them all out on 11/3. Only the Democrats will reign the President in.

Talarico is doing more for Christian Evangelism than anyone since Billy Graham. Make no mistake - a LOT of the enthusiasm amongst 18-29 year olds comes from a deep yearning for a Christian Faith that offers them a home too.
BREAKING: In a stunning moment, videos are leaking of the ENORMOUS line to get into James Talarico's rally in San Antonio tonight. Talarico is energizing Texas in a way Democrats haven't seen before. This is amazing.

This is hysterical! What in the hell did she think he was going to say?
this answer about what issues matter to him from a college student waiting in line at the Trump rally wasn't what the Fox correspondent expected to hear. She moved on with swiftness

Trump quadrupling down on an absolutely horrific ad, which targets a 12 year old who was raped by her step father. 2016 Trump was not an exemplar of morality. But he had the political instincts to know when to throw someone under the bus.
Q: Now that you know the backstory about Amy Acton and her stepfather and why she hasn't talked to her mom in so long -- her stepfather was indicted for rape -- do you change your mind about the ad? TRUMP: No. No. It's a mother speaking badly against Amy Acton. You don't know anything.

Yo Dems - give to Scott’s Senate campaign if you’re looking to help a candidate that isn’t already over-funded. He’s a really good candidate and has a legit shot at pulling this off. The other under the radar race is Hallie Shoffner in Arkansas. She’s a farmer and a great candidate.

We’ve functionally already left NATO. Everyone including Putin knows that Trump has fully sided with Russia. Everyone who told us that we had TDS when we warned this was coming, can kiss my ass.
Trump on NATO: If they don't soon find their way, we will have no choice but to leave. To leave. We will have no choice.

The fact that the GOP, who have a massive $ advantage over Democrats this year, are blaming each other for their predicament is pretty funny. Maybe allowing the President to build monuments to himself while everyday Americans struggle to pay their rent was not the best strategy.
NEW — Two weeks out, Republicans are already spending significant time discussing who to blame on election night if they suffer big losses. It’s a vicious cycle as Rs start to point fingers, publicly and privately, at the NRCC, Senate GOP, Roger Marshall, Trump himself and more. Trump political aides are calling campaigns they feel aren’t performing well enough. “If it happens, there will be plenty of blame to go around,” said Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-N.J.), who is in his own tighter-than-comfortable race. More on the quiet planning w/ @andrewjfhoward @adamwren @Reporter_Mia politi.co/4zH1T96 via @politico

President Trump, my friend Donald - thank you for your extraordinary endorsement. Israel has never had a greater friend in the White House. Together we will never let Iran's regime get nuclear weapons. Thank you for your clarity, courage and unwavering support. @realDonaldTrump
