ICE and Trade[XYZ] plan to bring Hyperliquid-based perps to the U.S.
Subject to regulatory approvals, ICE will operate U.S. regulated versions of Trade[XYZ]’s markets, leveraging their expertise as the leading deployer of real-world-asset perps on Hyperliquid.
The new venue will operate separately to ICE’s institutional futures franchise and offer a trading experience designed for retail participation.
Once live, U.S. traders will be able to trade 24/7 across a range of assets spanning the macro complex including:

*Equities
*Indices
*Commodities

Users will access the platform through U.S.-regulated FCMs performing KYC/AML screening, including ICE's joint venture with OKX.

trade[XYZ] and ICE, owner of the New York Stock Exchange, are joining forces to bring 24/7 perpetual futures on Hyperliquid to the United States.
In just over a year, our markets on Hyperliquid have surpassed $650 billion in volume. So far, I've survived LUNA/UST-collapse, the day of the Celsius freeze in 2022, when $ETH dipped to $880, the collapse of FTX ($BTC down to $15k), $USDC depeg to $0.85, the August 5th crash in 2024 where ETH went down 20% intraday and alts nuked a lot more, Bybit hack 2025, Oct 10 crash 2025 where alts went to literally zero, and the Binance hack yesterday.

ขอเป็นตัวแทนคนไทยมาเล่าให้เข้าใจง่ายๆ
หลัง Binance ถูกแฮก Variational ออกมาบอกว่า User Funds ปลอดภัย เพราะเงินของผู้ใช้อยู่ Onchain ไม่ได้อยู่บน Binance
แต่! เรื่องนี้มีความเสี่ยงอีกด้านที่หลายคนอาจมองข้าม
โมเดลของ Variational คือใช้ OLP (Omni Liquidity Provider) เป็นคู่สัญญากับผู้ใช้ และนำเงินทุนของตัวเองไป Hedge ความเสี่ยงบน Exchange ภายนอก
ถ้า OLP มีเงินหรือ Position อยู่บน Binance ก็อาจได้รับผลกระทบจากเหตุการณ์นี้ได้
ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการถอนเงินไม่ได้ชั่วคราว การ Hedge ที่ติดขัด หรือในกรณีร้ายแรงคือการสูญเสียเงินทุน
ถ้า OLP เสียหายหนัก ก็อาจกระทบทั้งความสามารถในการจ่ายกำไรให้ Trader และสภาพคล่องของ Variational โดยรวม
เงินเขา เงินเรา อาจแยกกันเก็บ แต่ความเสี่ยงของธุรกิจยังเชื่อมโยงกันอยู่ดี
ที่สำคัญ Variational Docs เองก็ระบุว่า หาก OLP ล้มละลาย กำไรจากการเทรดที่ยังไม่ได้จ่ายอาจกลายเป็น Bad Debt ได้
ดังนั้นการที่ Variational บอกว่า User Funds ปลอดภัย ไม่ได้แปลว่าผู้ใช้หรือโปรเจกต์จะไม่มีความเสี่ยงเลย
ตอนนี้ยังไม่มีหลักฐานยืนยันว่า OLP เสียหายจาก Binance Hack ครั้งนี้
แต่ผมคิดว่าสิ่งที่ควรจับตามองคือ Variational มี Exposure บน Binance มากแค่ไหน และมีเงินทุนสำรองเพียงพอรับมือกับเหตุการณ์แบบนี้หรือไม่
เพราะ Onchain Custody ไม่ได้แปลว่าไม่มี Counterparty Risk
On Variational you can't withdraw your own funds permissionlessly
Read their contracts. As far as I can tell:
- Collateral sits in per-user usdc pools on arbitrum, ~$224m across ~208k pools
- You can deposit into your pool but you can't withdraw from it yourself. Every withdrawal goes through their oracle contract and only addresses with PROVIDER_ROLE can trigger it
- 17 addresses have that role, 16 of them plain wallets (EOAs). as far as i can read the code, any one of them can move usdc out of any pool on its own, and the contracts don't cap the amount
- The admin that hands out these roles and can pause the oracle is a single EOA: 0x8e4d1ad423e4f37600cda314fd3d99629ceaeabf. role changes take effect immediately
- Docs describe the olp vault as "a smart contract where the capital that powers OLP (USDC) is secured". the address they list for it, 0x74bbbb0e7f0bad6938509dd4b556a39a4db1f2cd, has no code. It's an EOA
- the protocol treasury, 0x5e91b40467fb8902c46a7b6cb90482363188d645 (~$12m usdc), is one of the 17 provider keys
Docs say the keys live on fireblocks. If there are policies on them (limits, quorum) that answers most of this, but none of it is visible onchain
@variational_io how is the admin key secured, do provider keys have limits, and how does a user get funds out if your backend is down?

เหตุมีผู้แจ้งบอกว่าเจอแผงวงจรปริศนายัดไส้อยู่ในเครื่อง เคราะห์ดียังไม่มีรายงานการพบว่าสินทรัพย์สูญหาย
ทั้งนี้ Trezor ได้ถอด CryptoBilis ออกจากตัวแทนจำหน่ายไปแล้วตั้งแต่ 9 ต.ค. จากเหตุการณ์ที่พบบน Ledger ก่อนหน้านี้ และแนะนำว่าใครที่ซื้อกับ CryptoBilis หลังเดือนมีนาคม 2026 ก็ไม่ควรนำมาใช้งาน
ทั้งนี้ Trezor Safe 5 เจ้าปัญหา ทาง Trezor อยู่ระหว่างรอเอาฮาร์ดแวร์จากทางผู้แจ้งข้อมูลส่งเข้าแล็บ เพื่อนำมาตรวจสอบอย่างละเอียด แต่จากข้อมูลรูปภาพที่ได้รับและวิดีโอคอลก็น่าเชื่อถือระดับนึง ทาง Trezor เลยเอามาแจ้งเตือนกันไว้ก่อน (ถ้ามีปัญหาจริง นี่น่าจะเป็นกรณีแรกที่พบในค่าย Trezor)
CryptoBilis update
We've been made aware, through responsible disclosure, of a single hardware implant in a Trezor Safe 5 device bought from the reseller CryptoBilis in August 2026.
No CryptoBilis buyer has reported a loss of funds to us.
IMPORTANT: If you bought a Trezor from CryptoBilis from March 2026 onwards, we know this is unsettling. Here’s what to do:
Already using it?
Move your funds to a newly created wallet with a new seed as soon as possible. Do not reuse the old seed in any wallet, hardware or software. If you don’t have another secure hardware wallet available, we recommend temporarily migrating your funds to a software wallet or an exchange you are familiar with.
Not set up yet? Don’t set it up, and never enter your existing wallet backup on it.
We haven’t received the device to confirm this report, but based on the customer’s description, we’re treating it as credible and sharing it now so customers who purchased a Trezor via CryptoBilis can secure their funds as a precaution. Our security team will examine the device as soon as it arrives.
On October 9, 2026, we removed CryptoBilis as a reseller following reports of tampered Ledger devices sold through it. Since then, we have been inspecting Trezor devices that customers bought from CryptoBilis and have found no signs of tampering on any of the four devices we’ve received so far.
NEVER share your wallet backup (recovery phrase) with anyone. Trezor Support will never ask for it.

Following the security incident at Binance, Unit’s Guardians are introducing a protocol upgrade to deter attempts to move stolen assets through the protocol and to give incident-related intelligence more time to become available.
Effective immediately, every Unit deposit and withdrawal is subject to a processing delay. The length of the delay may change as the incident response develops.
Existing Guardian screening remains in place, including automated checks using third-party blockchain intelligence, and Guardians may update their screening as new information about the incident becomes available.
Do not attempt to move stolen assets through Unit. Transactions that fail Guardian screening may not reach the consensus required to complete.
Our sympathy goes to all users affected by the Binance incident. We also recognize these delays may disrupt Unit users, but limiting further harm to victims comes first.
These measures reflect the protocol’s current architecture. Responses to any future incident will depend on the protocol’s design and capabilities at that time.
