The growth of RWAs onchain is only part of the opportunity.
As more of an asset’s lifecycle moves onchain, that value becomes easier to integrate into broader financial activity.
The next phase is not just more assets onchain, but more ways to put them to work.
RWAs onchain are scaling and maturing together.
Our Tokenization Progress Index (TPI) scores how much of an asset's lifecycle has actually moved onchain.
Stablecoins sit furthest along both dimensions: large market value and higher TPI.
Tokenized Stocks show relatively high onchain maturity, while market size remains smaller.
Meanwhile, Treasuries, Commodities, and Private Credit have reached larger market sizes but still sit in lower-to-middle TPI bands.
The rest of the asset classes remain early and primitive.
For the full TPI methodology and a deeper look at the sector, read our Q1 2026 tokenization report: panteracapital.com/state-of-…

One of the biggest takeaways from @money2020: Traditional financial companies are eager to adopt crypto, but integrating it into existing operations remains a major hurdle.
Adopting blockchain shouldn't mean retraining entire teams.
@m_at_anvil joins @zempcapital on @BlockHashPod to break down how Anvil is removing those barriers with enterprise-ready infrastructure that makes digital asset collateral accessible to businesses, without requiring blockchain expertise ↓

The market for tokenized assets is growing rapidly, yet much of this adoption momentum overlooks a critical need: institutional-grade infrastructure to unlock their full financial utility. Bringing RWAs onchain (whether wrapped or native) requires more than simply creating access to a 24/7 market. Truly making these assets productive requires robust onchain credit infrastructure that can support the collateralization and liquidation of this emerging universe of assets at scale. This is what @anvil_xyz does.
Pantera's latest State of Tokenization report is out.
We analyzed the $332bn tokenization market across 671 assets.
Institutions entered in force this quarter. J.P. Morgan, HSBC and Fidelity launched onchain products.
BlackRock's BUIDL moved $441mn onchain in June, runs a $1bn daily redemption facility, and is now accepted as collateral.
On the consumer side, Robinhood Chain hit $888mn in weekly RWA volume in August, two months after launch.
Collateral markets matured, with private credit putting 45% of its matched value to work in DeFi.
The lack of a market-structure bill didn't stop tokenized stocks. A five-year SEC exemption lets the market keep developing under current rules.

Stablecoins aren't just entering the financial mainstream, they're becoming a priority across the industry.
At @money2020, @m_at_anvil, @Akhparty, & others connected with everyone from payment processors & VC firms to fintech platforms & more through interviews, meetings, & partnership discussions.
Across these conversations, one trend was clear: even the most traditional companies are exploring how to adopt onchain value.
As this adoption accelerates, so does the demand for infrastructure that makes digital assets usable across existing financial workflows.
The timing couldn't be better for Anvil. 🛠️

Bringing finance onchain isn't about replacing existing financial systems. It's about making them fundamentally more efficient.
From instantly verifiable guarantees to leveraging the rise of onchain value, Anvil provides the infrastructure to bring DeFi advantages into existing financial applications.
