Domestic violence affects people and pets.
Abusers may target pets to threaten or control victims.
This creates barriers for victims seeking shelter if they can't take their pets, fearing for their safety.
Let's help! 🐾

May is #ChipYourPetMonth! Of the million of pets who get lost each year in the U.S. & end up in shelters, only 15% of dogs & 2% of cats without microchips are reunited with their owners? Make sure that if your furry friends go missing, it won't be for long. Get them chipped! 👍
