I know a lot of folks are waiting until 1.0 to pick up Scarlet Hollow, but I do think that one of the things that makes the game special is getting to explore and discuss different routes before the full story is finished.
You'll see maybe 10-15% of the game on each run.
I have never seen this interaction omg Tabitha that first part is so dark I had to reread it to make sure I was interpreting it right
Another Deltarune criticism I have that might not be so popular is while the dialogue is generally good occasionally there will be a line that comes off as really clunky
I mostly contribute this to the fact the textboxes are super limited (trust me I’ve had to use them before)

While I do trust that Ch 5 will fit well into the overall structure of Deltarune I would be surprised if my main issue with Asgore was fixed by the end
Mainly because it already happened, it was resolved. I could like him as a whole more but that issue will remain
Current deltarune discourse is making me feel old because there is no way someone having a bad but harmless take is ever as serious as some people are acting like it is
Do I just not get it anymore. Ask me again when I’m retired

If this is the Knight (and not Carol) then I would be inclined to assume the pauses are more due to the Knight’s manner of speech, in which case the key might be whatever Kris tells them instead
Something like “Susie has the guitar. Go to the church” would fit fairly well
I know that people probably won’t like this answer either, but I do prefer it to completely context changing parts of the text being omitted since there is already precedent of Kris keeping stuff from us, and us being unable to hear them
