À Strasbourg, hier, la police a tabassé deux manifestants déjà blessés et les street medics qui les soignaient.
Le monde entier doit voir ce que la police française fait à son peuple.
A view held by many. Dangerous and real. 21st century Zionism.

Never forget. Not one Irish far right "patriot" showed up and supported the residents of Garvaghy Road against loyalist intimidation.
They travelled to Belfast and supported and marched alongside loyalists. Then after the march they went and drank with loyalists in a UDA pub. The UDA murdered over 200 innocent Catholics.

Imagine a British police service laying siege for hours on end to a small Jewish or Black community in order to force through a Far Right parade.
It is inconceivable, yet the PSNI Chief Constable is continuing to do precisely that to a minority Catholic community in Portadown.

Marie-Therese Murray protests on Garvaghy Rd. She holds a photo of her 12 yr-old son Darren, who was knocked down and killed 30 years ago after being chased by loyalists. She rarely speaks about her loss but felt she had to protest today for “next generation” @IrishTimes

The PSNI told the parades commission that they didn’t believe there would be violence at Garvaghy Road, thus enabling the Orange march to go forward, this despite the history of Garvaghy Road and the intense pain and trauma the residents there have suffered… There was no way they were ever going to sit back and let this happen, and they should never have been expected to.
Yet within a matter of hours of the parade being announced, the PSNI drafted in additional forces from Britain to support what they suddenly predicted would be an extensive police operation?
The PSNI are now using the rule of law to justify their actions, potentially forcibly removing residents from the road in a way that would’ve been unimaginable to them when a model of a mosque was placed on top of a bonfire, or while racist pogroms were being carried out in Belfast.
This is starting to feel like something straight out of a playbook, approaching the protestors to ‘negotiate’ while at the same time arming themselves in riot gear, inflaming a situation they created then criminalising the people they have provoked. Breandán Mac Cionnaith sees it clear as day, as do all the residents of Garvaghy Road, ‘you’re not trusted,’ he said.
Hard to see anyway back from this, trust in the PSNI in particular has fallen to pieces.

A lot of you from outside Ireland are probably hearing about the Garvaghy Road and wondering what all the fuss is about.
1998 -
After the parade was banned from marching on the Garvaghy Rd, ten Catholic churches were set on fire across Ulster in one night.
In the following days, loyalists attacked Catholic homes, schools and businesses. Multiple houses were petrol-bombed, resulting in the murder of 3 young boys, the Quinn brothers. Their home was targeted because their mother was Catholic.
She mother woke to the sound of her children screaming in fear and the house full of smoke. Sadly the boys, Jason, Mark and Richard, did not make it out.
Garfield Gilmour was sentenced to life in prison after he admitted to driving three members of a UVF unit to the house, but later that was reduced to manslaughter.
Johnny McKay and brothers Raymond and Ivan Parke were named by Gilmour as the killers, but were never charged because of a lack of evidence.
In the days following the murders, loyalist bands defied orders not to play music while marching passed the home of the Quinn boys grandmother.
Tonight, a court overturned an earlier ruling banning the parade from marching on the Garvaghy Road, crowds have gathered and confrontation now seems inevitable with that march set to go ahead early Sunday morning.
The courts allowing this march to go ahead is absolute madness!

Huge questions for the PSNI leadership.
The same PSNI would not remove bonfire material from a loyalist site last year & would simply not countenance green lighting a reciprocal Republican parade in a loyalist area due to the risk of potential disorder.

Drumcree 1997.
Locals are hemmed into their homes by British military armoured personnel carriers in order to force a triumphalist Orange Order march down Garvaghy Road
Ironically this meant that Catholics were barred from attending their local Church for mass

🚨Danny Tommo has just stabbed an inflatable migrant boat in the English Channel with a member of a French rescue team on it.
He’s out of control and needs arresting.
With their sashes and their flutes, bowler hats and Sunday suits,
They can gather in Dumcree, but they’ll not be marching down Garvachy Road. Too right the Irish
Brigade.
