We did not lock the public and press out of the gallery. There are a handful of individuals sitting in the gallery and many more watching online. #utpol

1/ The Princeton Gerrymandering Project used the same data for the Independent Redistricting Commission’s report cards as it did for the Legislative Redistricting Committee’s, scores which the commission highlighted in its final report to the Legislature. #utpol

3/Hrs after @princetongerry posted the chairs’ report card, the organization deleted tweets & added caveats, diminishing the original score. It leads us to wonder why tweets highlighting the congressional map's overall A grade, including for partisan fairness, were removed.#utpol

4/ Less than an hour ago, @princetongerry updated its report, underscoring the double standard used to rank the maps. If this group doesn't have significant data, it shouldn’t release analysis for the committee’s or the commission’s maps. #utpol

.@princetongerry posted results for the chairs' maps. The organization reviews maps & gives letter grades based on partisan fairness, competitiveness & geography. The chairs' Congressional & Senate map both received an overall grade of A, including for partisan fairness. #utpol

We have grades out for the Utah legislature's proposed maps. These maps are going to a public hearing on Monday, so folks in Utah should speak up about what they like and don't like in these maps. #PGP_UT #UTPol #Redistricting #FairMaps
