A guy I know lost both parents to a drunk driver. He got custody of his 3 siblings and had to drop out of uni to work and take care of them.
He used to joke a lot, always outside, always laughing. After it happened, he barely talked. Just always looked tired.
If this law had been in place it would have eased his burden a bit.
Crazy. People at this resort paying exorbitant prices for a VIP Super Bowl party and you can sit outside and stream the Round Lake Bears vs the Moosomin Rangers for free.

During his post debate scrum Mr. Carney definitely said he was not Chair of Brookfield when they decided to move HQ from 🇨🇦 to 🇺🇸 That’s not true. Given the #1 issue in the country and the need for Cdns to trust leaders on that issue, this seems close to a disqualifying moment.

Carney tonight when asked about Brookfield moving to New York: "I was chair of Brookfield Asset Management. I ceased to be chair on the 15th, I think, of January when I announced for leadership... The decision, the formal decision of the board happened after I ceased to be on the board. I do not have a connection with Brookfield Asset Management."
The truth: This decision was made back on October 31st and reported on November 1 2024
Mark Carney got caught lying to Canadians again.
As chair of Brookfield, Mark Carney chose to move jobs out of Canada into Trump's hometown.
Trump wants our jobs and Mark Carney is just the man to help him.
If Carney wins, Canada loses.
