🚨The Largest Hack in Human History: North Korea Stole ~$6.3 Billion from Binance in 20 Minutes.
On October 29, 2026, hackers stole $6.3 billion from Binance.
This is an all-time record-more than any bank or treasury heist in history.
It is highly likely that the Lazarus Group / North Korea was behind this.
The money is going toward Pyongyang’s nuclear program and missiles.
The bulk of the money was stolen in ~20 minutes.
The preparation took at least 36 hours.
They gained access through a compromised laptop belonging to a Binance DevOps engineer.
About $3 billion has already been frozen by Tether, Circle, Ripple, World Liberty, and others.
The rest was converted to ETH/BTC at a discount before it could be frozen.
They currently have ~$2.4 billion.
Binance is covering everything from its SAFU fund and its own funds.
This is already the fourth major attack by the same group in recent years.
Cumulatively, North Korea has siphoned off tens of billions-estimated at ~$11 billion via cryptocurrency over the past 9 years
