I'll never understand the excuse that there's not much psyonix can do with RL cuz it's "just cars kicking a ball" How many sports involving a ball are there? How much can you do with cars by just customization alone?

Front/back lights, window tint, spoiler, hood, exhaust, etc. Maybe even some RLCS stickers like in CS to give your designs more "personality". I know they are switching to UE5 right now, but it's not like these things are newer than RL is.

Also look at Rumble, that gamemode came out like 7 years ago and it didn't get a single new power up since then, it was just left to die. It's even hard to keep faith in UE5 when long standing gamemodes are left to rot and there's absolutely no communication about the future.
