The heart says one thing, the mind says another. The daily assault on democracy and the rule of law triggers the heart. The mind steps back and sees the process. Then the heart seizes up in panic that time is running out. The mind says breathe.

After Trump lost the 2020 election, he fired Mark Esper , who was the secretary defense and replaced him with a lackey and Kash Patel.
During the 2024 election there were 200 bomb scares in swing states. I believe there will be a lot of false flags on that day so they can send in the National Guard who are all on alert.

Ken Paxton’s former top cop on why he’s voting for James Talarico:
I spent 2 hours with James Talarico. Number one, I saw no deception. He answered all my difficult questions. He didn’t dodge anything. He hit it head on.
I have been around politicians my entire life. I served 5 governors, I’ve met 4 presidents… And James Talarico is so different than other people I’ve encountered.
I think he’s the man who needs to go to Washington DC, and Ken Paxton needs to go home.

Texas Lt Governor candidate Dan Patrick pushed through a ban on all THC products in the GOP led Texas legislature and Greg Abbott signed the law into effect.
Due to Dan Patrick possession of one single Delta 8 gummy is a felony punishable by a possible 99 year term in a Texas prison.
Not only did Dan Patrick decide what Texans can put in our own bodies he pushed the Texas Prohibition on behalf of the liquor industry and large drug cartels who feel the heat from legal THC.
This is a major issue in Texas as Patrick made millions of Texans felons overnight for simply possessing THC products that were fully legal until Dan Patrick butted in and destroyed the $4.3 billion Texas legal THC business that employed over 53,000 Texans.
The only people Patricks prohibition against legal THC benefits are the drug cartels, street dealers and the liquor industry. Not the people of Texas
Come on Texas vote against Dan Patrick’s nanny state that wants to tell us what we can and cannot put in our bodies . Vote for freedom Texas. Vote Vickie Goodwin for LT Governor, She will not ban your bedtime gummies or help the drug cartels grow even stronger

Let me get this straight.
@GregAbbott_TX gives $2B in tax breaks to his largest campaign donor Musk, then appoints his hand-picked comptroller to administer & oversee compliance of those incentives, who also has financial stake in Musk’s companies.
They really are selling Texas
Comptroller Don Huffines is manager of a venture capital firm that invests in SpaceX.
He didn't include it in his personal finance disclosure required of candidates.
The Comptroller administers upward of $1.7B in tax breaks for SpaceX.

Greg Abbott's admin spent $30 million in money reserved for fighting catalytic converter theft on blanketing Texas with thousands of unaccountable, warrantless Flock cameras, then scolded cities for not installing them fast enough.
Greg Abbott created a Texas surveillance state.

Texas Senate race is transcending into a fight between the world’s richest man and James Talarico. Ken Paxton has been relegated to a supporting role who by his own admission has very little control over his own campaign
Talarico Vs Musk is a test bed for 2028. If Musk is successful in buying the state of Texas lock stock and barrel, he will be almost unstoppable in 2028
Here in Texas we have a choice to make next Tuesday. Sell Texas to the highest bidder or vote to make Texas free and independent.
Vote wisely my fellow Texans the future of Texas is in our hands

According to Visual Capitalist, data centers have raised prices in TX by nearly 13%. I think that number is low; electricity prices have jumped markedly in the past decade.

Data centers in TX will likely wipe out almost all the clean-air gains we have achieved over the past 20 years because of massive increases in electricity demand.

“Americans should not have to wonder whether joining a protest, attending a community meeting, or criticizing the administration will put them in a federal database.”
According to WIRED, 62 Homeland Security Investigations agents worked on the case against 15 Minnesota activists who opposed Trump’s immigration crackdown.
Agents infiltrated Signal chats, monitored meetings, examined financial transactions, tracked license plates, and assembled deeply personal information using government records and commercial data brokers. The surveillance reached far beyond the people charged.
The administration says it was investigating a conspiracy to impede federal officers. Those allegations must be tested in court. But that does not give the government a blank check to treat an entire political movement as a criminal network—or to sweep unions, community groups, journalists, and ordinary protesters into an intelligence dragnet.
We have seen this before. COINTELPRO. Civil-rights leaders targeted. Antiwar activists infiltrated. The government using its enormous power to monitor and intimidate people it considers politically threatening.
Now the tools are more sophisticated, the data more invasive, and the surveillance apparatus more powerful.
The First Amendment does not disappear because the president dislikes the people exercising it.
Americans should not have to wonder whether joining a protest, attending a community meeting, or criticizing the administration will put them in a federal database.
ICE is supposed to enforce immigration law—not help build a surveillance state aimed at political dissent.
Defund ICE. Vote the GOP out of office.

We've been saying for a few years now that Trump ran for a second term for three reasons:
1) Keep his fat ass out of a federal joint.
2) Use the power of the state to terrorize, inconvenience, harass, and prosecute perceived enemies. Hell, he'd have them executed if a compliant DOJ staffed by loyalists could pull it off.
3) And of course, the grift, Qatari Jets, Bitcoin, Ballrooms, government no-bid contracts, Pay-to-Play, Pardons, strategically timed stock trades, the list is endless. A US president, 21 months into his term, is about $ 4.1 Billion wealthier than he was on the day of his inauguration. Not many people are thinking about it, but they need to be. That's unprecedented corruption. It's out in the open. Pretty damn obvious.
4) And now the fourth reason, the one that we often didn't think to place in the original set. I really do believe that he wanted to get back into the White House to help his "friend," Vladimir Putin (thinks Trump is a dope and he's right), to realize his dreams of conquering Ukraine and erasing the conquered nation from history as though they never existed. Trump always dreamed of a Trump Moscow hotel and doing other business with bad boy Vlad. Together, along with some very well-known oligarchs, they will loot and pillage Ukraine, counting their money on the graves of murdered Ukrainian civilians. "To the victors go the spoils."
Are we even still the United States of America anymore?
It just doesn't feel and seem like the country I grew up in.
I loved that country and I was proud of it and all that it stood for.
The thing about this that is more nuts than anything is that a significant portion of the American population appears to be cool with all of this chaos, betrayal and corruption.
