Trump's war in Iran isn't just increasing your gas prices.
When fertilizer prices go up, so do your grocery bills. This administration doesn't care about lowering your cost of living.

This is a partisan, Republican farm bill that ignores the biggest crises in farm country.

Trump promised to put America first. Instead, his tariffs drove up grocery prices for every American, killed export markets for U.S. farmers, and sparked trade wars with our closest allies. The Farm and Family Relief Act ends Trump's trade chaos.

Today I led my NC colleagues in demanding Speaker Mike Johnson provide his plan to avoid a health care crisis.
With the looming expiration of ACA tax credits, hundreds of thousands of North Carolinians will face increased health care costs or loss of coverage.

Every taxpayer should get their refund on time. But Trump's decision to fire 7,000 IRS staff may delay refunds & cause financial pain for many Americans.
@RepLloydDoggett and I led 130+ of our colleagues in demanding answers from the IRS.

House Republicans support freeing violent felons who brutally attacked police officers on January 6. The Republican decision to release these dangerous criminals into our communities makes America less safe.

The bipartisan bill I signed yesterday will give states the flexibility they need to use grant funding to help prevent stillbirth.
Stillbirth happens to more than 21,000 families every year – impacting Black and Native American women about two times more than white women.
Vice President Harris and I are committed to solving the maternal health crisis in our country and preventing these tragedies.

Thank you to @RepAdams for opposing the use of conservation funds to support factory farm practices. We need real conservation practices to bolster small and medium sized sustainable farms in a Fair Farm Bill.

“Food security is at an all time low, rather than address it head on with this country’s most efficient and effective program, this bill cuts SNAP by $30 billion—no small amount for that matter. That is heartless. That is unacceptable.” @RepAdams (4/5)

SNAP is our most effective nutrition program. It responds to economic conditions so when the GOP say SNAP has increased over time, it’s because poverty has too. The #FarmBill cuts $30 billion that should feed hungry families. That won’t reduce poverty but it will increase hunger.
