We should be looking at every responsible avenue to expand domestic production, unleash American industry, and ensure our military has a reliable supply of the resources necessary to defend our citizens and freedoms.
That's why I recently urged the Department of War to identify opportunities to expand domestic copper mining, processing, refining, and recycling on the approximately 3.12 million acres of defense land under its management in Arizona.

I call on all Arizona officials to join the federal government in its quest to eliminate fraud, waste, and abuse. This is not a partisan issue, and it's critical to our future prosperity and security as a nation.
President Trump announced a new federal fraud whistleblower incentive program that he says will pay Americans, including journalists, a 1% commission for reporting fraud and corruption involving taxpayer dollars.
"If you turn somebody in and you, let's say, report, and you find $1 billion, we are giving a commission to that person of 1%. It's a lot of money," Trump said.

When Republicans disagree with the political opposition, we take our arguments to the hearts and minds of the American people.
When members of the radical left disagree with their political opponents, they often threaten, harass, and persecute them.
Tragically, the recent statement from U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin is not an outlier or a misstatement. Rather, it embodies what we have seen and experienced from the radical left - especially over the past decade. This rhetoric, and the will to make it a frightening reality, flies in the face of how our country's founders established our constitutional republic—the shining city on a hill.
These threats and subsequent actions must end. Our nation cannot stand with one party resorting to such tactics. For the sake and future of our great country, let's agree to disagree, remembering that we are all Americans who want what's best for our children and grandchildren.

Arizona already leads in copper production, and we have a tremendous opportunity to build on that strength.
I'm taking action to require states to strengthen their efforts to identify and combat fraud, waste, and abuse in their Medicaid programs.
Government officials have a responsibility to be good stewards of taxpayer dollars and ensure that Americans’ hard-earned money is spent appropriately and protected from fraud. Unfortunately, under the current state administration, Arizona has been an unwilling participant in the critical effort to hold bad actors accountable and root out fraud wherever it exists.
It's time to reverse this dereliction of duty.

This morning, the Holy Father underwent the blood tests and chest X-ray scheduled after surgery. The results confirm that his postoperative recovery is progressing normally: the values are within the expected range for the type of operation performed.
The Holy Father has undergone respiratory physiotherapy and has begun walking around his room. He has resumed eating normally and had breakfast and lunch.
His recovery is proceeding as expected.
