25 years ago, tragedy struck our great nation. We will never forget the Americans who lost their lives at the hands of radical Islamic terrorists on September 11, 2001. 
 We will never forget the extraordinary courage of the firefighters, police officers, emergency personnel, and many others who ran toward danger that day and paid the ultimate sacrifice to help their fellow American. 
 In one of our darkest hours, the world witnessed that this cowardly act of terrorism was no match for the indomitable American spirit. May we never forget September 11, 2001, and may we always stand united to honor our fellow Americans who never came home.

Charlie Kirk was a patriot who loved the Lord, his family, and his country. I proudly voted in favor of H.J. Res. 1, a proposed constitutional amendment to keep the U.S. Supreme Court at nine justices. This proposal would have maintained the court's integrity and prevented the radical left from packing it with progressive activists. Democrats showed today that they'll stop at nothing to politicize our judicial system.
