The Russians are losing on the frontlines so they embraced terrorism, bombing shopping centers, churches, restaurants, gas stations, etc. I was just there and saw the destruction. Most casualties in these bombings are citizens. The President is blind to Putin’s warcrimes.

When our President is weak on the dictator and war criminal, and hard on the victim who is allied with freedom… then you embolden the dictator and get more war crimes. Ballistic missile attacks on citizens are not humanitarian.
Three waves of ballistic missiles have been launched at Kyiv by Russian “humanitarians” since yesterday evening. They used 21 missiles. Unfortunately, numerous sites across the city have been hit and damaged: ordinary residential buildings, energy facilities, infrastructure at one of the railway stations and the metro, shopping malls, and businesses. Even a monastery is among the damaged sites. Our emergency services are working at all the affected locations. Twelve of our regions came under Russian attack overnight. In Kyiv and across the regions, 34 people were injured, including five children. As of now, two people have been confirmed killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Almost immediately after another round of talks, Russia launched a pointed attack. This means there has been no real change in its attitude toward everything that is happening. It is important to keep trying to find the right solutions to end this war. But when Russia responds to negotiations with ballistic missiles, real pressure on Russia is needed to bring about different steps – steps toward ending the killing. Stronger air defenses and the rapid delivery of missiles, the ability to destroy ballistic missile launchers, sanctions over the war – all of this must be in place. I am grateful to everyone who sees the situation for what it is and acknowledges the reality. The aggressor deserves to be treated accordingly. Ukraine deserves support. People's lives deserve protection. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine!

Listened to @RepDonBacon today on the Regan Caucus Podcast. Somebody like him could get me back into the party and restore the GOP to sanity.

I agree. We’ve seen that right here in Sarpy County, NE.
Whether or not communities can support new data centers is a decision that should be made at the local level. But in North Carolina, many counties have seen how these investments can benefit their communities by growing the local tax base, creating jobs, & attracting new investment.

It would be more like Munich 1938.
Any confab among Messrs. Xi, Putin and Trump that tried to dictate Ukraine’s fate would be a mistake that could plant the seeds for a larger conflict, not unlike the first Yalta that drew lines for the Cold War. on.wsj.com/4BgaEbT

Thank you @SenatorWicker. My Gr, Gr, Gr Grandfather and his son, my Gr, Gr Grandfather, fought at Vicksburg under the flag of two different Illinois regiments. Their names are on the Illinois memorial. General Grant’s campaign is known as one the greatest in military history.
Today, I joined several state leaders in breaking ground on an interactive visitor center at Vicksburg National Military Park. Over the past year, Mississippi’s congressional delegation worked together to pass a law that gave the state and its private partners new tools to bring the story of Vicksburg to life. This center will help Mississippi remember, relive, and learn from the past.

This is why the Administration has practically zero credibility regarding Russia… domestically and internationally.
Witkoff's "humanitarian" comment simply echoes the president and takes it a step further, ignoring the realities of the Ukrainian civilians and children Russia has slaughtered

What an embarrassment. Putin is a Communist dictator who has been responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths around the world and the jailing and killing of opposition leaders at home. He is either lying and coddling a dictator on behalf of our country or just plain ignorant

My little church supports a missionary who lived in Kiev until early 2022, when he had to get his wife & daughters out so Putin's humanitarian troops wouldn't rape them to death. Christians there pray they don't freeze this winter due to Putin's humane bombing of their homes.

Ukraine is getting no warning when Russian ballistic missiles are launched and expected Patriot missiles have been put on hold. Republicans and Democrats on yesterday's call with President Zelensky were livid. We want answers. I thank @jaketapper @TheLeadCNN for having me on.

This is absolutely vile. Calling Putin a humanitarian is an insult to every Ukrainian who has suffered and died because of his war of aggression.
