Much will be written about last night, but what is clear is that Florida has built a massive sea wall against the blue tsunami thanks to the conservative leadership of @RonDeSantis. All the statewide Rs won in one of the worse election cycles in history, thanks to a 1.5 million voter advantage built over the last 8 years of good conservative policy.

Texas has been the most significant Republican state this century. A Democrat sweep of statewide races — and possible capture of the Legislature — takes away one of the anchors of the modern GOP. A huge loss.
