The storm recovery charge will end one month ahead of schedule, beginning in August.
Although higher summer temperatures often lead to increased cooling costs, ending the charge early helps offset bills by approximately 11%–12% for residential and small business customers.
As energy use declines this fall, the end of the storm recovery charge will have a greater impact on reducing monthly bills. For Budget Billing participants, those savings will appear more gradually over time.

For parties, visits, BBQ's or outings at parks, beaches, or water parks, assign one adult per child. Stay extra hypervigilant. Take turns on a rotation so no child goes unsupervised. #autism #SearchWaterFirst

Thank you @hollygregory33 for the great conversation on why the TRUMP Act is the best bill in the nation.
Randy Maggard retweeted
The TRUMP Act delivers the strongest possible criminal sentence for illegal aliens caught committing crimes, including:
🚔 Automatic and mandatory death penalty sentences for any illegal alien who commits murder.
Elevated criminal penalties and ending taxpayer subsidized in-state tuition are centerpieces of our mission to end incentives for illegals in Florida and deliver the harshest punishments for those who violate our sovereignty.

The Legislature’s bill would unconstitutionally remove enforcement from the purview of the governor and assign it to the AG commissioner.

Florida Sheriffs are on the frontline of President Trump’s mission to end illegal immigration and enforce the rule of law.
The TRUMP Act delivers:
✅ Record funding to law enforcement to quickly DEPORT illegal aliens
✅ Mandatory and automatic death penalty for illegals who commit murder
✅ Immediate maximum sentences for illegals who commit crimes
✅ Stronger cooperation with ICE and the Trump Administration to identify and deport illegals
Thank you Florida Sheriffs for keeping us safe and having President Trump’s back!🇺🇸
Pretty big deal here
Sheriff's in Florida side with Legislature in their fight with DeSantis over immigration reform
Powerful group that aligns with Republicans, and has done a lot with DeSantis over the years
Interesting to see how the On Here crowd will respond to this endorsement. Most who opposed DeSantis to date have had rough social media days

Today, the Florida House, by an 82-30 margin, passed SB 2B, the TRUMP (Tackling & Reforming Unlawful Migration Policy) Act, which is the most conservative, America First immigration bill in the nation that provides aggressive and direct support to President Trump and his Administration.
Sadly, Democrats stood united in opposition to this bill. Those who oppose the TRUMP Act would defy the wishes of President Trump and his mission to deport illegal aliens, empower law enforcement, and secure our borders.
Florida Republicans sent a clear message - our nation is moving on from the Biden-era broken border policies that prioritized criminals over cops and moving forward with a new Trump-era of ending catch and release and replacing it with catch and deport.
The TRUMP Act is a giant step forward in giving President Trump the necessary tools he needs to secure our border, make our nation safer, and Make America Great Again.
Through the passage of this Act, Florida will be the nationwide leader in working with the Trump White House to deport illegal aliens and keep our country safe.
Randy Maggard retweeted
Governor DeSantis isn’t being honest with Floridians about the TRUMP Act.
The Governor’s proposal leaves out large portions of what the Trump Administration wants to get the job done and end the national scourge of broken borders.
Facts matter and the facts are clear: the TRUMP Act puts the President in full control, armed with all the tools needed to execute the most aggressive illegal immigration crackdown in our nation’s history.
The TRUMP Act delivers the harshest penalties in the nation for illegal aliens, criminal gangs, and terrorists - including an automatic death sentence for capital offense like murder and the rape of a child.
The Governor doesn’t support these harsh penalties - the TRUMP Act makes criminal illegals pay the price.
