Here in Pennsylvania, we are now requiring insurance companies to cover speech therapy for young kids who stutter — ensuring they can access the critical support they need without worrying about how to pay for it. Speech therapy can be life-changing for kids who stutter, giving them the tools they need to find their voice, overcome obstacles, and thrive. Proud to work with @RepMarkosek , @MKG14, and @change_n_impact to ensure our Commonwealth leads the way in removing these barriers and standing up for our children’s right to the care they need.

Today, I signed a bipartisan bill into law that requires insurers to cover speech therapy sessions for young kids with a stutter here in our Commonwealth. Thank you, @RepMarkosek for your advocacy and leadership in getting this done — and to the parents and loved ones of kids who need these services, I have your back. We're ensuring PA's kids get the care they need.
