.@RepMaxMiller and I just asked @TheJusticeDept to investigate three Communist activists who attended the Ayatollah’s funeral. If you’re an American, and cheer on enemies of the United States of America, you should face the consequences. It’s just that simple.
Americans stood on an IRGC stage, led chants of “Death to America,” and produced propaganda celebrating Ayatollah Khamenei —the dictator responsible for the deaths of thousands of Iranians and countless acts of terror. This week, I led a letter demanding a federal investigation into whether this crossed the line into material support for a Foreign Terrorist Organization.

As a vet, but more importantly as someone who represents a veteran heavy district, I will NEVER vote to cut veteran benefits nor will I vote to prevent current service members from filing claims in the future. Today, I was put in the center of an unhinged meltdown and was told to “stop talking” because I pointed out how stupid it is to cut veterans benefits. Other Republicans AND many vet orgs to include @DAVHQ, @VFWHQ, @IAVA and @studentvets are against this bill for this very reason. The good news is, this veteran’s bill can and will be cleaned up and re-voted. So yeah, did I break away from party leadership on this to prevent cutting veteran benefits? Absolutely… and some of my colleagues disagree with me. Will a better version of this bill come to the floor? Yes. This is a part of the process.

The SAVE AMERICA Act should be added to the base text of the NDAA—not added through a MIRV procedure, which signals an absence of political will on the part of the House to stand behind its inclusion
If you believe in election integrity, don’t hide SAVE America in a MIRV. Put it in the bill itself. Statutory text becomes law. Everything else is only guidance that can be ignored, rewritten, or quietly discarded.

The current plan being proposed by HOUSE GOP to “MIRV” NDAA + SAVE AMERICA is a procedural head fake. This does not do anything but guarantee the Senate will EASILY TAKE OUT SAVE America from the NDAA. HOUSE GOP LEADERSHIP SHOULD allow an AMENDMENT to ATTACH VOTER ID + PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP or SAVE America to the ACTUAL TEXT of NDAA. IF IT IS NOT DONE THIS WAY, IT WILL EASILY BE TAKEN OUT. If we do it as an amendment, the way that I proposed it, the Senate would need 60 votes to pass the legislation without SAVE America attached. Meaning it would be harder for them to TAKE it out.

On June 6, 1944, our brave Allied forces landed in Normandy and began the liberation of Europe. On D-Day, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and valor of the Greatest Generation, who changed the course of history and preserved the precious freedom that is too often taken for granted today.

Eighty-two years ago today, freedom stood on the edge of extinction, and Allied forces stormed into hell to help save the world. We will never forget the courage, the sacrifice, and the blood spilled on that fateful day.

There have now been four jihadist attacks on the US homeland in the last two weeks & our Dept of Homeland Security remains shut down by Congressional Democrats, as a protest against enforcing federal immigration law. Just today, 46 of 47 Senate Dems voted to keep DHS closed.

Proud to wear my custom “Fight” kippah today in Congress. President @realdonaldTrump is battling leftists, Muslim terrorists, and all who are seeking to destroy us, and he’s not backing down one bit. I will never stop fighting alongside him. We must continue to fight, fight, fight!

Alongside every Republican on the Ways and Means Committee, I’m calling on the IRS to enhance its oversight of the tax-exempt sector following the ongoing Somali fraud scandal in Minnesota. The potential theft of billions in taxpayer dollars shows the serious need for reform - particularly following the Biden Administration’s failure to hold these organizations accountable. As the Committee continues its investigation into waste, fraud, abuse, and illegal activity across the tax-exempt sector, it is clear that the IRS must take a more hands-on approach to safeguarding taxpayer dollars and ensuring nonprofits are properly monitored. I applaud President Trump’s bold efforts to hold those involved in fraud schemes accountable and look forward to working with his Administration to put an end to this fraud once and for all.

Chafee education and training vouchers (ETVs) can help youth access more career opportunities by looking beyond 4-year college degrees and providing flexibility for states to use vouchers for programs like short-term trade training. Key to that effort is skipping the traditional paperwork by sending ETV information straight to foster youths the moment they enter care — making those types of career and technical education opportunities clear and accessible from day one. @RepMaxMiller
