The July 4th floods were devastating for communities across Texas, leaving behind countless amounts of damage to local infrastructure. ICYMI: I recently secured funding for the Christoval Road Improvement Project. This investment will help fund a $28.6 million transportation and utility infrastructure project along the south side of Goodfellow Air Force Base, extending from Paint Rock Road to South Chadbourne Street.
The project will mean a safer, more reliable corridor for local families, commuters, and the service members and civilians who work at Goodfellow.

I introduced the Medicaid Integrity and Fiscal Responsibility Act to require each state to designate an individual as the person primarily responsible for fiscal duties associated with its Medicaid state plan or waiver.
By making sure every state has a designated official responsible for fiscal oversight, this bill helps ensure taxpayer dollars are managed responsibly and that the program stays strong for the Americans it was built to serve.
