The Working Families Tax Cuts helped save the family farm.
My @HouseGOP colleagues and I increased the inheritance tax threshold to $15 million for individuals and $30 million for married couples.
This helps generational farms and businesses stay in the family rather than being forced to sell assets to cover inheritance tax.
My prayers are with Rep. Keith Self and his family following this disturbing threat. I am grateful to the FBI and law enforcement for their work to stop this threat.
This is the reality elected officials are facing, and it is unacceptable.
We can disagree on policy, but political violence has no place in our country.
