Almost 5.2 Million Americans lost SNAP since Trump and GOP Republicans passed the Big Ugly Law. And to make matters worse, there are even more hurdles for eligible people to receive SNAP benefits.
But my Democratic colleagues and I refuse to stop fighting for the American people. We intend on restoring SNAP, reducing hurdles, and doing whatever it takes to keep families and their children fed. And THAT’s A FACT!

The Trump Administration wants to destroy the Head Start program from the inside-out. They’re eliminating 90% of the program’s standards that ensure safe classrooms, qualified staff, teaching standards, protections for disabled kids, and dual-language students.
The end of Head Start puts the future of our children at risk. It’s cruel. It’s wrong. And we refuse to let this happen on our watch.

It’s heartbreaking to see pantries across the country struggle to feed our families because of Trump’s USDA funding cuts. He promised to bring Americans more food and cut grocery bills.
