This is such a shame. IRIS is an evidence-based programme which helps minimise risk for #DomesticAbuse survivors. Hopefully the decision will immediately be reconsidered.
We're deeply concerned about the closure of the IRIS programme in Gwent, delivered with @LlamauUK , which received over 1,187 GP referrals in 3 years. Ending this life-saving service leaves a dangerous gap for #DomesticAbuse survivors: irisi.org/news

We're alarmed by new research findings from the Centre for Women’s Justice, which shows shocking levels of police perpetrated domestic abuse. Officers accused of domestic abuse are all too often facing promotion, not prosecution.

Despite rising reports of domestic abuse, prosecutions & convictions continue to plummet. Providing specialist support to every victim would save lives & hold perpetrators to account.
