During Jesse Jackson's 1984 presidential campaign Jackson had what he thought was an off the record conversation w/Coleman. Coleman reported Jackson used anti-semetic terms hymie and hymietown. Coleman became one of the highest ranking Black editors in msm.

A Democrat running for mayor of LA is not interchangeable with a Democrat running for city council in Mississippi, nor with a Democrat running for public service commissioner in Georgia. And the public service commissioners control whether utility companies can increase your light & gas bills. (In Georgia you should absolutely vote for the Democrats who are promising to keep those bills low rather than Republicans who are paid off by the utility companies.)
My point is that we should assess candidates based on what they promise to deliver & what resources they control.
A serious political analysis doesn't give any party unconditional loyalty. But it also doesn't give any party unconditional opposition either. Both surrender the power of political negotiation before it even begins.
Tariq Nasheed is now and has always been a grifting moron. That will never change. Your only job is to ignore him and make your own analysis of the candidates who are running for office in your district.

I’m still amazed at the number of folks who don’t understand what quotation marks mean. In this case, that I’m quoting an article from TheCut .com.
Also I’ve shared pictures of my parents on this app, so why lie?
Because all they have is lies. And y’all wonder why I can’t work with these people? They’re illiterate and immoral. A dreadful waste.

It’s their saving grace, but our generational battleground.

Why are people acting as if this is the first time Trump has said or promoted information that appears to be positive about Black Americans?
The question is do his actions match the narrative he’s presenting? 🤔
