An Islamist-led activist coalition has rejected criticism of its planned "Laylat al-Salam" (Night of Peace) demonstrations outside synagogues and Zionist-owned businesses across the United States.
The "Rise Up Against Zionism" movement insists that the event's timing on the anniversary of Kristallnacht is "purely coincidental" and that Zionist critics are "manufacturing a climate of intimidation and Islamophobia."
"The event was inspired by Abdul El-Sayed's call for equal rights to peace, dignity and self-determination and is intended to peacefully globalize the intifada," its spokesperson said. "Any calls for spontaneous acts of retribution reflect individual views, not those of the organizers."
Asked why the campaign includes synagogues and businesses with no connection to the Israeli government, organizers said, "Those institutions failed to publicly distance themselves from Zionism."

1) Enforcement letters to the AG, DA, and Police Commissioner, reminding them which statutes apply, which specific crimes trigger it, and providing the proof of motive.
2) Preservation notices to each of you, explaining that litigation is anticipated and that deleting relevant evidence to prevent its use in court can lead to sanctions, including a jury instruction that the missing evidence was unfavorable to you.
3) Organized volunteers and lawyers on site so we have a litigation-grade record ready. No he-said/she-said disputes this time.
