A robot stood, its frame of steel
A heart of circuits, a soul to feel.
But time, relentless, took its toll,
Each piece unbound, each fragment whole.
It's gears grew loose, its joints would sway,
Its lights dimmed out, its voice gave way.
Yet in the wreckage, a whisper stayed:
"Once I lived, though machine made"
Falling apart, yet never gone,
A spark remains, it's code lives on.
For even in ruin, it's story glows,
A machine undone, yet it still knows.
