So excited about this book! Many friends have contributed to this book. The damage done in RJ in education is directly a result of colonized educational structures and White supremacy that needs to be dismantled. This book explains the challenges. A must read!

The slogan "Hurt people, hurt people" is quite popular. While this is partially true, the systemic and cultural root of how we hold one another individually and communally is the real shadow, the deepest wound. How we respond to hurt is key. In Colonized structures, it is denial.
